Overview
Borrow RM1,000 to RM50,000 over 6 to 108 months at a fixed flat rate from 4.9% a year. Everything happens online: you know your instalment and total cost in writing before you e-sign, and the money is paid into your own bank account, usually the same or next working day after you sign.
- Fixed instalments for the whole loan — your payment never changes
- No guarantor needed for most applicants
- Settle early at any time with a Rule of 78 interest rebate
Who it's for
- Salaried employees in the private sector with at least 6 months in their current job
- Civil servants and GLC staff who prefer not to use salary-deduction schemes
- Self-employed people with two years of income records
- Anyone who needs a lump sum and wants a fixed, predictable repayment
Probably not for you if
- Paying off another moneylender loan that is already in arrears — speak to AKPK first for free advice
- Covering everyday spending month after month — a loan will make that gap bigger, not smaller
- Anyone who would struggle to repay if their income dropped for a couple of months
What people use it for
- Medical and family emergencies
- Hospital deposits, treatment not covered by insurance, or travel to care for family. We usually call you back the same working day and can verify you on a short video call within one or two days.
- Home repairs and moving
- A leaking roof, a new water heater, or the deposit and first month's rent on a new place.
- Clearing expensive card debt
- Credit-card balances often cost up to 18% a year on a reducing balance. Compare the total cost first — our calculator shows both.

Questions about this loan
- We look at your net income and your existing commitments. As a guide, we aim to keep all your monthly debt repayments, including ours, below about 60% of your net income. On a RM3,500 net salary with no other loans, that typically allows a RM10,000 to RM15,000 loan over two to three years.
- Yes. The flat rate is fixed in your Schedule J agreement for the whole loan, so your instalment never changes.
- Yes. We include those instalments in our affordability check. Having other loans is normal; what matters is that the total stays manageable.
- Not usually. We may ask for one only if your income is irregular and you want a larger amount than your records support.
- We don't offer top-ups that roll an old loan into a new one, because they hide the real cost. Once your loan is settled, you're welcome to apply again.
- Call us as soon as you can. We will look at your situation and, where possible, agree a temporary reduced payment plan rather than let arrears build up.
