Answers before you borrow
Grouped by topic so you can find what you need quickly. If your question isn't here, send us a message and we'll reply, usually the same working day and at the latest the next working day.
Applying
- Yes. We hold a moneylending licence issued by the Ministry of Local Government Development (KPKT) under the Moneylenders Act 1951. Our licence number is shown in the footer of every page, and you can check it against KPKT's list of licensed moneylenders before you share anything with us. KPKT allows licensed moneylenders to lend online as long as they verify your identity properly and use a Schedule J agreement, which is how we work.
- Malaysian citizens and permanent residents aged 21 to 60 with a regular income — salaried, civil servants, self-employed, gig workers and SME owners. You need a Malaysian bank account in your own name.
- We usually WhatsApp or call you the same working day you enquire, and at the latest the next working day. If your documents are complete when we verify you on the video call and you e-sign the agreement, the loan is usually disbursed to your bank account the same or the next working day. You never have to travel anywhere.
- No. Sending the quote form does not trigger a credit check. We only check your credit report during your video verification, with your consent, if you decide to proceed.
- Yes, you can still enquire. We look at your full picture — income, existing commitments and repayment history — not only a score. If the loan would stretch your budget, we will tell you honestly and may suggest a smaller amount or free debt advice from AKPK.
- Personal loans from RM1,000 to RM50,000, salary loans up to RM30,000, and SME loans from RM5,000 to RM100,000, with periods from 6 up to 108 months on every product. The amount we offer depends on your income and existing commitments, so your monthly repayments stay affordable.
Rates and fees
- No. We never charge a 'processing', application, insurance or 'agent' fee before disbursement, and we never ask you to transfer money to 'unlock' or 'release' a loan. The only cost at signing is stamp duty of 0.5% of the loan amount, which goes to LHDN. It is shown in your agreement and deducted from the loan, never paid upfront. Anyone asking you to pay first is not us — report them to the police.
- A flat rate charges interest on the original amount for the whole loan. Because you repay part of the loan every month, the true yearly cost — the effective annual rate — is higher. For example, 12% flat over 24 months is about 21.6% effective. We show both for every quote, so you can compare us fairly with any lender.
- Under the Moneylenders Act 1951 a licensed moneylender may charge at most 18% a year for unsecured loans and 12% a year for secured loans. Our rates start from 4.9% a year flat and always stay within these limits.
- Late interest of 8% a year is charged only on the overdue instalment, calculated daily. On a RM500 instalment that is 30 days late, that is about RM3.29. If you expect to miss a payment, message or call us early on our official number — we would rather agree a plan with you.
- Yes, at any time. You pay the outstanding balance minus a rebate of unearned interest, calculated using the Rule of 78. Ask us for a settlement statement and we will show you the exact figure.
Verification and documents
- No. We operate entirely online and have no walk-in service. A licensed officer verifies your identity on a short video call, you send your documents through our official WhatsApp, and you e-sign a Schedule J agreement that is stamped with LHDN. You still get to ask every question live, in your language, and you receive a copy of everything you sign.
- Your MyKad to show on camera, your latest 3 months' payslips, 3 months' bank statements showing your salary, and your latest EPF statement. Self-employed applicants prepare SSM registration, 6 months' business bank statements and their latest Borang B. Send them as clear photos or PDFs through our official WhatsApp only — never through this website or to any other number. We tell you exactly what to prepare when we contact you.
- About 15 to 20 minutes. You show your MyKad on camera, we go through your documents, assess affordability and show you the full cost in writing. You never have to sign on the call — you can take as long as you need before you e-sign the agreement. A family member is welcome to join.
- Personal and salary loans do not normally need a guarantor. For SME loans to a Sdn Bhd company, a director usually e-signs as guarantor after being verified on a video call too. We explain this before you commit to anything.
- Yes. Once it is e-stamped with LHDN, we send you the stamped copy of your Schedule J agreement and your repayment schedule. You can also ask for a statement of account at any time.
Privacy and safety
- Because you shouldn't type it into a website you have just found. The enquiry form only needs your name and phone number to contact you, and it will never ask for your IC number, bank details or documents. Your identity is verified privately with a licensed officer on a video call, and documents are sent only through our official WhatsApp, which protects you from identity fraud.
- We use them only to respond to your enquiry. We never sell or share them for marketing. Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Read our privacy notice for the full details under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
- We only contact you from the official phone and WhatsApp number shown on this website, and we always quote your reference number. We never ask for an upfront fee, your online-banking password or TAC, never ask you to hand over or courier your ATM card or bank book, and never ask you to sign a blank page. Before you deal with any lender, check its licence on KPKT's list, and make sure the money goes into an account in your own name. If in doubt, stop replying and message our official WhatsApp number yourself.
- No. We never contact your family, friends or employer about your loan, and we never use threats. If you fall behind, we contact you directly to agree a way forward, as required by law and our own code of conduct.
