1. About this website
This website is operated by MyBank Credit Sdn. Bhd. (company no. 200001004910 (507515-H)), a moneylender licensed by KPKT under licence WL7152/14/01, with its registered office at Level 10, Menara Contoh, Jalan Contoh, 50450 Kuala Lumpur (no walk-in service). We operate entirely online: there is no branch to visit, and every step, from your enquiry to receiving your money, is handled by phone, WhatsApp, video call and electronic signature. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean MyBank Credit, and "you" means anyone who visits the website.
By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. You can still call or WhatsApp us on the official number shown on this website to ask about a loan.
2. Information, not an offer
Everything on this website — including product descriptions, rate ranges, the calculator and our guides — is general information to help you understand our loans. It is not an offer of credit, a promise that you will be approved, or financial advice about your personal situation.
A loan only exists once a licensed officer has verified your identity and assessed your affordability on a video call, you have accepted our written offer, and you have signed electronically a Schedule J (unsecured) or Schedule K (secured) agreement that has been stamped with LHDN. KPKT allows licensed moneylenders to lend online on exactly these conditions: the borrower's identity must be properly verified and the prescribed agreement must be used. The terms of that agreement prevail over anything on this website.
3. Who may use the enquiry form
- You are at least 21 years old
- You are a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident, or you are enquiring on behalf of a business registered with SSM
- You are sending the enquiry for yourself or for a business you are authorised to represent
- The phone number you give belongs to you and you can receive calls or WhatsApp messages on it
- You have a phone or computer with a camera and a stable internet connection for a short video call, or someone you trust can help you set one up
Please do not send an enquiry on someone else's behalf without their knowledge. In every case we verify the borrower personally on a video call, so the person who will repay the loan must be the person we speak to.
Meeting these conditions lets you send an enquiry; it does not mean a loan will be approved. Whether we can lend, and how much, depends on our assessment of your income, existing commitments and documents during the video verification.
4. How our estimates work
Our calculator and quote form show estimates based on the amount and period you choose. By default they use the highest rate in our current range for that loan, so your real offer can only be the same or lower.
- Interest is quoted as a flat rate per year, charged on the original loan amount for the whole period
- The effective annual rate shows the true yearly cost of the same loan and is always higher than the flat rate
- Stamp duty of 0.5% of the loan amount is payable once, to LHDN, when the agreement is stamped
- Monthly figures are rounded to the nearest sen; the final instalment absorbs any rounding difference
Your actual rate, instalment and total repayable are set out in writing before you sign and may differ from the estimate depending on our assessment.
5. Information you give us
Please make sure the details you send are true and complete. We rely on them to decide whether to contact you and what to discuss. Giving false information to obtain a loan may be an offence, and we may decline or end the process if we find that information is untrue.
Do not type your IC number, bank card details or passwords into any form on this website, and do not upload documents here: the website never asks for them. After your enquiry, a licensed officer will tell you exactly which documents to prepare. You show your MyKad on camera during the video verification and send clear photos or PDFs of your documents only to our official WhatsApp number shown on this website. Never send passwords, PINs or TAC codes to anyone, including us.
6. No fees for using the website or applying
Using this website, sending an enquiry, the video verification and electronic signing are all free. We never ask for a processing, application, insurance or agent fee before a loan is disbursed.
7. How we will contact you
After you send an enquiry, a licensed officer will contact you by phone or WhatsApp at the time you chose. We only use the numbers shown on this website, and we will always mention your reference number so you know the message is genuine.
- We contact you about your enquiry only, not to sell you other products, unless you agree
- You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will close your enquiry
- We never ask for payments, passwords, TAC codes or photos of your cards by phone or message
- If you miss our call, you can reply to our WhatsApp message or call the official number during business hours
- We never contact you from a number, WhatsApp account or email address that is not listed on this website; if in doubt, call the number on this site and quote your reference
Our privacy notice explains in full how we handle the details you give us, how long we keep them and how to ask us to delete them.
8. Verifying you and signing online
Because we do not meet customers in person, we take extra care to make sure the person applying is who they say they are, and that you understand every line of your agreement before you sign it.
- Video verification: a licensed officer calls you on video at a time you agree. You show your MyKad on camera and answer a few questions about your application. The call usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
- Documents: you send the documents the officer asks for only through our official WhatsApp number shown on this website. We will never ask you to send them to another number, an email address or a file-sharing link.
- Credit checks: we check CCRIS and a registered credit reporting agency only with your consent, which we ask for at this step.
- Explaining the agreement: before you sign, an officer goes through your Schedule J or Schedule K agreement with you on a call, line by line, in English, Bahasa Melayu or Chinese.
- Electronic signing: we send the agreement through a secure signing link from our official channels. You sign electronically after confirming your identity with a one-time code sent to your registered mobile number. A signature made this way binds you in the same way as a signature on paper, under the Electronic Commerce Act 2006.
- Stamping and your copy: we stamp the signed agreement through LHDN's e-stamping system and send you a digital copy of the stamped agreement, the stamp certificate and your repayment schedule. If you would also like a printed copy, ask us and we will post one to you.
9. Acceptable use
When you use the website you must not:
- Send enquiries in someone else's name or with someone else's phone number
- Submit large numbers of enquiries or messages automatically, or try to get around our limits
- Try to access parts of the website or our systems that are not meant for the public
- Introduce viruses or any code that could harm the website or other users
- Copy our content to mislead people into thinking you are us
We may block access from devices or networks that break these rules and report serious misuse to the authorities.
10. Our content
The text, design, illustrations and software on this website belong to MyBank Credit Sdn. Bhd. or our licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, as long as you do not change them and you keep our name on them. Any other use needs our written permission.
11. Links to other websites
We link to government and public-interest websites such as KPKT, AKPK and Bank Negara Malaysia so you can check facts for yourself. We are not responsible for the content of those websites, and a link does not mean they endorse us.
12. Availability and changes
We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change our products, rates within the legal limits, or the website itself at any time. Changes to rates never affect a loan you have already signed.
13. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Malaysian law that cannot be limited, including your rights under the Moneylenders Act 1951 and the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where they apply.
Otherwise, because the website provides general information only, we are not responsible for losses that arise from relying on it instead of the written terms of your loan, or from events outside our reasonable control.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute about them will be dealt with by the courts of Malaysia. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
15. Contact and complaints
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@mybankcredit.example or raised by phone on 011-2345 9635. If you have a complaint about how we lend and you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact KPKT's moneylending division.
